PSYG General Meeting

First ten days of Muharram are gone very quickly, and Alhamdullah PSYG youths have done an outstanding job. We all can now call ourselves a strongly established youth group working as a team and we have proved yet again that we can achieve any set task surpassing any challenges or hurdles

Nevertheless, we got two major events to organise by the end of next month, and like always we need to work together. As per our last meeting we decided to have a meeting on 27th January 2008, to decide a plan for the upcoming events. However due to the short time the meeting is postponed to Saturday 17th February 2008 @ 5:30pm to 4:00pm.

EVERY SINGLE youths MUST be present in this meeting as we will be discussing plans for this year's events/activities. This year PSYG will run a little differently, we will be creating small teams, with its own leader and budget, and they will have an objective which they will have to meet in given time. They will be reporting back to the PSYG committee on a monthly basis.

The activities/events we are going to organise in teams this year are:

·         Al Imaan Magazine Team

·         Documentary Team

·         Campaign Team

·         Youngsters assistance program team (mentoring, school help, guidance)

·         Camping, Outings & PSYG Hajj 09 organising team

·         Sporting competitions organising team

·         Speeches and Debate competitions organising team

·         Website team

·         Have you got more ideas..please e-mail them to me immediately

All of the above activities/events fall under our slogan of SARP (Social, Academic, Religious & Professional) and all the teams will be supervised by the relevant coordinators. On the 10th February meeting, we will be creating the teams, for example, for Al Imaan Magazine team, we will ask for volunteers to fill positions of Editor, Publisher, Journalist 1 Male, Journalist 2 Female. etc.

Furthermore, anyone who miss this meeting will be in great loss as most of the positions will be filled, and they will later have only limited positions to choose from.  

ATTEND THE MEETING ON 17th FEBRUARY @ 4:00PM AND BECOME PART OF A GREAT PSYG MOVEMENT, DON'T MISS OUT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
